Why Visitors Return Year After Year
We have been seasonal here for 14 years. Our kids grew up playing on this property and have had great childhood summers. It is safe, well maintained, organized, clean, quiet place. Probably one of the best campgrounds on Bruce Peninsula. If you are looking for place to relax and enjoy quiet time then don’t look further. Heron Point ( Paul, Norma and all our neighbors/ friends) thank you for all this beautiful time.
I’ve stayed at this campground every season for the past 10 years. It’s the perfect place to bring my family, plenty of activities for the kids. The new owners are much more friendly and their kids are inclusive as well. So much so that I observed them including a little French boy who couldn’t speak a lick of English but used google translate to teach him how to fish. Solid vibes.
My family and I just had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage on Lake Huron, and it brought back so many happy memories of our own family vacations when the kids were little. Now, as a grandparent, it was such a joy to share that same experience with my grandchildren. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed, but what really made it special was the peaceful atmosphere. The lake was right there, and we spent hours kayaking and canoeing —it’s something I think they’ll remember for a long time.
Highly recommend the cottages. The location is fabulous and spotless. We went for a fishing trip, regardless of less than ideal weather, our group had a fantastic time. The owners Greg and Amy are great hosts. As a bonus, there was a very good band that entertained us one afternoon.
